If you are like me and like to see what the daily “Google Doodle” will be, you would have noticed that today Google decided to dedicate the home page doodle to Virginia Woolf. Who is Virginia Woolf and why was she given this honor of being on Google’s front page?
Virginia Woolf was a British modernist author in the early 1900’s famously known for her saying “A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction”. This idea paved the way for the rest of her career in writing and acting as the modern day feminist of her time. Let me lay out Mrs. Woolf’s life for you:
1. Feminist Activist
2. Lesbian and Gay Rights Supporter
3. Had a mental illness described as a “manic-depressive illness”
4. Studied shell shock, war and witchcraft.
5. Committed Suicide because she was obsessed with death
Not much to be celebrating if you ask me. But you see, in the eyes of the world this is exactly what makes a person well celebrated. Fighting for the cause of human social rights and freedom FROM THE LAW, the law of God. No one in the world today, not even Google, will take a stand for God’s law. They will go against anything and everything that will bring a person closer to God. This is why you will not see Google create a doodle to celebrate the day of life. Instead they celebrate a person who fought the right to kill the body, both her own and the body of the same gendered lover when committing homosexuality. This is what America celebrates today.
Monday, the 22nd of January, 2018 was the National Sanctity of Human Life Day here in America and did Google create a doodle to celebrate life? No they did not. They took the time to celebrate a European man from Riga. He was a Soviet film director and film theorist. We see in the life of this man there was speculation of his sexual orientation. Complete opposite of what this day stood for and the world embraced it. You should realize that living the homosexual life brings death from all directions. We should not be promoting such life style in any manner. Let’s turn to God before it is too late my friends.
Bottom Line
The bottom line is that the world will always be attracted to the things of the world because that is what is natural to the world. The world will never submit to the things of God no matter how logical they are, they will see it as illogical . This is precisely why the Word of God is clear about his people abstaining from loving the world. You can not love the world and love God at the same time. Scripture says that the light (Christ) came into the world and the world comprehended it not. The world can never see what the people of God see. We should be the example to the world and show them that the only way out of this dark and perverse world is through the light of Jesus Christ.
1 John 2:15-17
15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Let’s choose to celebrate life and celebrate all those who promote and fight for the right to human life. If you cannot find anyone to acknowledge then that just means that you need to step up to the plate. God is calling a people out of this dark and evil age to shine the light for him and him alone.
